	Gods on Werlyth come in two flavours, the Uplifted Gods and the Minor Gods. The Uplifted are Gods that were specifically created from existing mortals by Ord when said mortal attained some level of achievement in line with their races ideals as set by Ord. The Minor Gods are born of the extended, ritualistic and fervent belief of true believers. Minor gods are only slightly less powerful than the Uplifted but neither of these groups can compare to the raw power of the Primordials. == Human Gods ==
Humans for the longest time have only had Ord as a point of worship, with Ordanism being the primary religion of Lathlenn for around 5000 years. Ordanism was founded by a married couple who found a mysterious matte golden orb in their field, in what was an extension of Camborn but would one day be the independent nation of Grasmere. The orb was extruding a metal of the same matte golden hue that was extremely pliable and when treated with pure water became as hard as steel. Upon touching the orb, they claimed, they were presented with a vision of the Primordial Ord and instructed to spread the faith of Ord so that humanity can be uplifted into the perfection that humanity should be striving for. This couple became High Priest Ellis and High Priestess Hylian of the Church of Ord and began spreading the message of the true god Ord. As the religion grew in popularity and strength, it began to influence governments and soon it was able to change laws and ordinances, such as banning all other religions as cults and charlatans. The orb continuously extruded the metal, now called Ordium, and it was harvested and tempered and used to craft the arms and equipment of the churches military arm as well as gild the massive cathedral built on the site of it's founding. This brought immense wealth to the church which became more and more draconian as it's power and influence grew. Over time the orb began to extrude metal faster and faster, Ellis and Hylian received a new vision and in order to contain the orbs power and limit the amount of metal it produced, held up the orb between them and were soon covered by the metal which now drips from the orb into a bowl that it is harvested from.

With the Cataclysm, the power of the church has diminished somewhat over the last 50 years, while they still have a strangle hold on some regions, the presence of other gods, races and religions has led to an upsurge in humanity embracing other religions. Alongside this, previously downtrodden cults that were mostly stamped out by the Ordian Paladins have now had a resurgence. Ordanism is still the predominant religion in Lathlenn and has found some adherents in the other races.
