Overview

Untainted Knights represent Gallows ideal of the pure blood individual. Their blood is free of poison, disease, mutation or mistake. They exemplify the perfection that can be attained by devoting oneself to maintaining purity of body and therefore purity of soul.

Oath Spells

3rd-level Untainted Knight Feature

You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Naturalist Spells table. These spells count as mechanomancer spells for you, but they don't count against the number of mechanomancer spells you prepare.

Oath Spells
Paladin Level Spell
3rd Detect Poison and Disease, Purify Food and Drink
5th Hold Person, Lesser Restoration
9th Aura of Vitality, Spirit Shroud
13th Aura of Purity, Freedom of Movement
17th Flame Strike, Greater Restoration

Channel Divinity

3rd-level Untainted Knight Feature

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Blood Guard - You can use your Channel Divinity to force some of your blood out of your body to produce a floating shield that will absorb the damage from a number of attacks equal to either your Proficiency Bonus or Charisma Bonus, whichever is higher. This will only block attacks made at the Paladin themselves.

Divine Cleansing - You can use your Channel Divinity to cleanse a number of people (plus yourself as a bonus), whom you can see, equal to your Charisma modifier of any poison as well as giving them a Constitution saving throw to be cleansed of a disease as well.

Martial Purity

3rd-level Untainted Knight Feature

Untainted Knights are more martial than divine in their application of their Oath. As such they have 1 less spell slot for each spell level. (At 3rd level they have 2 first level spell slots instead of 3)

Blood Smite

3rd-level Untainted Knight Feature

Untainted Knights do not use Divine Smite in the traditional sense. Every Long Rest, an Untainted Knight draws their blood via a ritual and this blood coalesces into a small diamond, bright red in colour and seemingly filled with liquid. They can produce a number of gems equal to their total (oath adjusted) spell slots.

When using Blood Smite (replacing Divine Smite uses) the Paladin breaks up to 6 blood diamonds upon their weapon adding 1d8 damage per blood diamond consumed. If the target is diseased or poisoned, or if they produce disease and/or poison, the attack deals an additional 1d8 damage.

At 11th Level, your weapon is so infused with your blood that you always do an additional 1d8 damage when attacking.

Aura of Blood Strength

7th-level Untainted Knight Feature

Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you do an additional +1 damage on all attacks originating from within the aura as well as gaining advantage on Saving throws against Poison/Disease

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Purity of my Blood

15th-level Untainted Knight Feature

From the 15th Level you are completely immune to disease and poison.

Blood Simulacrum

20th-level Untainted Knight Feature

At 20th level, as an action, you can create an exact double of yourself from your blood. For 1 minute, this simulacrum will replicate your actions exactly, even using false blood diamonds to Blood Smite. The limitation of the simulacrum is that it cannot replicate spells cast above 3rd-Level.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
